Description
This year workplaces have been having “courageous conversations” about race, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) more than ever. How do you ensure that this hot topic is a part of strategic conversations long-term? As the United States and workforce continue to become more diverse, having the skills, knowledge, and ability to have difficult conversations about race and DEI with staff, board members, donors, funders, and other stakeholders will be critical.
This session will focus on three areas:
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultural Audits
- Building Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Join Antoinetta Mosley, Director of Development and Communications at Meals on Wheels Durham, and Salima Thomas, Chief Education and Member Services Officer at North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, as they discuss strategies for leaders who want to create safe spaces for authentic sharing and learning about diversity, equity, and inclusion related topics.
