The AFP Triangle Chapter was founded in 1983 and represents nearly 250 members. The chapter provides access to relevant education and training, professional development resources, and networking opportunities. AFP Triangle brings together diverse professionals from across sectors, career levels, and specialties. AFP Triangle fosters dialogue, inspires innovative thinking, and shares knowledge and best practices toward effective and ethical fundraising in the Triangle.
The AFP Triangle is honored by the “Friends of Diversity” designation from ANP International. The award recognizes our chapter’s effectiveness in embracing and engaging diverse individuals, groups and organizations within our profession.
AFP Triangle is recognized as a Ten Star AFP Chapter for accomplishing many of the key objectives outlined in the AFP Strategic Plan. The award encourages chapters to perform specific activities that increase professionalism within fundraising and public awareness of the importance of philanthropy.
