There’s never been a more exciting time to join the Board of Directors of AFP Triangle! As the chapter begins to implement its new strategic plan – our Theory of Change – the 2020 Board of Directors will have the opportunity to refresh everything about how AFP Triangle serves our members and our community. Also, with the very recent addition of IMI Association Management Services, AFP Triangle begins in November to benefit from the professional experience and support of our new Director of Chapter Engagement, Keith Williams, and his support staff. These changes will permit Board Members to work more strategically in implementing our Theory of Change.
There are numerous committees to be led by Board members. We are not seeking to fill those leadership roles at this time, but to install a larger 2020 Board of Directors and allow Board members to choose their committee leadership roles.
Every Board member is expected to:
• Lead or participate on at least one committee
• Attend most board meetings
• Support AFP financially at whatever level is appropriate.
