Coordinator of Development /Alumni Association
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Coordinator of Development/ Alumni Association to secure financial support for our organization. The Development/ Alumni Association Coordinator will set and achieve fundraising goals, maintain knowledge of fundraising opportunities, and cultivate relationships with fellow employees and volunteers. You will actively lead fundraising events, identify and apply for grants, and maintain a social media presence to promote our school.
The successful applicant will build lasting relationships with donors, and keep them informed on how their financial impact is making our school and the future graduates of the school successful. Preferred candidates will be self-motived, deadline-driven multitaskers.
Development Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
• Implement and execute an annual fundraising plan to meet fundraising goals.
• Manage portfolio of donors.
• Provide leadership to the rest of the school community regarding fundraising opportunities.
• Prepare and present regular reports on progress towards fundraising goals.
• Plan and execute special fundraising events.
• Manage and execute grant writing and identification of new grant opportunities.
• Generate donor communications, newsletters, and annual report.
• Assist in the creation of print, digital, and social media content.
• Network and maintain regular correspondence with donors.
Development Coordinator Qualifications/Skills:
• Applied understanding of basic fundraising principles and development best practices.
• Grant writing along with identification of eligible grants for EWA.
• Strong prospect identification and qualification skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading ability.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Database and spreadsheet proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with online fundraising, email marketing, and internet research.
• Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of fundraising or non-profit experience.
• Experience with identifying and obtaining program-appropriate grants.
•Previous management experience a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting fundraising goals and securing major gifts.
• Valid driver’s license.

Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000 starting
