Parish Stewardship Representative
The Catholic Diocese of Raleigh has an immediate need for a Parish Stewardship Representative. This person will be responsible for serving as a crucial link/liaison between the diocese and pastors.
This exciting position is part of a new consultancy practice being designed to grow stewardship (Time, Talent and Treasure) and helping create a greater understanding of the planning, organization, and execution necessary to effectively help individual parishes grow. A strong sense of urgency and a heart for the mission is vital as you implement engagement strategies aimed at helping parishes become total stewardship parishes.
Training is provided, but individuals with 1-3 years of marketing, fundraising, and/or seasoned relationship building skills are most likely to excel in this position.
Parish Stewardship Representatives provide on-site consultative services to pastors, parish staff, and volunteer stewardship committees to develop a complete approach to parish stewardship tailored to each parish’s individual needs. The Parish Stewardship Representative will visit parishes that desire support and maintain bi-weekly contact with all assigned parishes (20-25). She/he implements parish stewardship processes including parishioner engagement strategies, offertory improvement, BAA, Bishops Circle events, and communications/online marketing efforts as appropriate.
Starting Salary 50K plus benefits.
