The third annual Philanthropy Forecast kicked-off the fund-raising year with updates from many leaders in the non-profit and corporate world. The keynote luncheon speaker was Michael Walden, William Neal Distinguished Professor and Economist at NC State University. Michael Walden is often quoted in statewide media as a leading authority on the state of North Carolina’s economy. His presentation included a 2012 economic forecast with special emphasis on its impact for non-profit organizations.
