Association of Fundraising Professional : Triangle Chapter : 2004 Summer Educational Conference

The Triangle Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) advances philanthropy by fostering growth and development of fundraising professionals in order to practice effective and ethical fundraising.

Association of Fundraising Professionals International recently embarked on a new membership drive. The goal is to have 50,000 members by the 50th year anniversary of Association of Fundraising Professionals. They are depending on Association of Fundraising Professionals Triangle Chapter to do our part. We started the year with 175 members and currently stand at 191 members. Our goal for the calendar year is 250 members. Here’s how you can help:

If you know a fundraising professional, executive director or a vendor who markets to nonprofits, invite that person to our next meeting. You and a guest can attend the meeting for $25 or $12.50 each.
Make it a point to welcome the people you don’t know at our next meeting. Save a seat for a new person and introduce them to the people you know.
Ask our chapter administrator, Sharon Tripp, to add a prospect to our meeting notification list. Sharon’s email is afptrianglenc@hotmail.com
Come to as many events and programs as you can.
